Julian Taylor is a British artist living and working in France since 1975. Born in Paris in 1954 and son of British painter James Taylor, Julian studied fine art in England before deciding to return to France and make it his permanent home. His work depicts the charm of French rural life in the Dordogne and his subjects are largely based around his homestead and the country he loves.

Julian Taylor
Born in Paris in 1954, Julian Taylor is an English painter who has been living in France since 1975.
The son of English painter James Taylor, Julian Taylor studied Fine Arts in England for two years. However, a formal art school education did not suit his freedom-loving nature and he decided to take his training in hand himself.
Julian Taylor has exhibited regularly at the Parisian Salons (Automne, Artistes Français, Comparaison, S.N.B.A.) as well as at the Salon d'Angers. Since 1975, his work has been shown in various galleries in France and also in Canada, the United States, Japan, South Africa and Switzerland.
